Installation Guide

EZfence® is simple to install. See below for detailed instructions or watch the video to see how it is done!

Installing your own fence?

All our fences come in kit form. Posts can be secured in concrete or attached to hard standing using post bases. Corner braces are screwed into the posts and the fence components then slot in … easy!

Fence Components

Each fence set comes with one post, one cap, two side covers, two rails, two corner braces, panels, spacers (if applicable) and fixings as required for installation into concrete. You will need to purchase a separate end post to complete each fence run. If you plan to install your fence onto hard standing you will also need to purchase one end post per fence set.

Installation

There are two fixing methods. If you are using post bases, these must be secured to the hard standing with suitable bolts*. The fence post then slots into the post base and should be secured with the screws provided.

Alternatively, the posts can be fixed with cement. Posts should be buried 500mm underground. Note, if you are installing on uneven ground, a better finish will be obtained if you ensure the top rails are level. In order to do this you may require longer posts. These are available here.

The bottom rail can then be installed between the posts, using the brackets to connect the rail to the post.

Fence panels can then be installed one by one to the preferred height. Finish by installing the top rail and post caps.

* We do not generally recommend post bases being secured into wood platforms due to the wind load on the fence.
